Trips

Every year St. Louis students take part in trips to places of interest both in Ireland and abroad.

We participate in exchange programmes with schools in Nigeria, France and Sweden.

Our Fifth Year students have been Skiing to Italy and Sweden.

The German Department has undertaken trips to Salzburg and Munich. This year Venice is included in the itinerary.

Students have also visited Barcelona, Paris and Munich.

Each year Junior Certificate History students go to Omagh Folk Park, while the Senior Students have gone to Dublin to visit places of historical interest such as Kilmainham Gaol and Dublin Castle.

Senior Art students visit the National Art Gallery in Dublin and Newgrange, while Geography students undertake field trips. Students regularly go on adventure trips to Baltinglass O.E.C. and to Bundoran and other adventure centres in Donegal.

The English Department makes regular trips to plays in Dublin and to the Garage Theatre and the Iontas Centre.
