St Louis U20 Footballers on winning form.

St Louis U20 footballers beat St Malachy's of Newry in a fantastic first outing for the Louis girls. Well done to the girls and their manager Ms O'Leary on a superb performance. Training will continue on Monday evening in the Harps from 4.30 - 5.30 in preparation for our next match against Ballybay.

St Louis students excel in Junior Certificate exam

The girls received their exam results last Wednesday and are pictured with their Year Head Ms. McCaffrey. Missing from the picture are Holly Boyce and Une Boylan. Ms. Mc Caffrey congratulates TY student Alice who achieved the best result in her Junior Cert in St Louis Secondary school. Alice attained 9 A grades on Higher Level papers and a Higher Merit in her English. Congratulations Alice. Chinese Language at St Louis

On behalf of St Macartan's College and St Louis Secondary School, we are delighted to welcome Mr Yin Liang to Monaghan. Mr Liang is a Chinese language teacher from the Confucius Institute in UCD. Mr Liang will be teaching the Transition Year students conversational Chinese. This is a brilliant opportunity for the students to broaden their understanding of Chinese culture and the Chinese language.

Caoimhe set for All Ireland contest

Pictured is Caoimhe O' Hanlon who was victorious in the Ulster Schools Pentathlon in Antrim Forum on Thursday last. Caoimhe was the only student from Monaghan to progress to the All Ireland Final of this event in Tullamore on the 16th October. The entire school community extends there good wishes to Caoimhe in her quest for All- Ireland success.

St. Louis welcomes International students

St Louis Secondary School Monaghan welcomed a group of international students when classes commenced for the academic year 2018-2019. The students from Spain, Italy and Germany are most welcome and we hope that they will have a positive learning experience. The Irish students have made their new class mates feel at home and are educating them about life in Monaghan. We wish the girls well for the year ahead. New staff for St Louis

Ava wins again!

Congratulations to St Louis student Ava Ross who won silver in the Irish track and field championships in the 2km walk under 16. Ava also had a very successful weekend last week where she won the English title in the girls U.15 3000m walk at the English track and field U. 15 & 17 championships in Bedford. Keep up the good work Ava. Ava is pictured with PE teacher Ms. Fleming.
