St Louis Green Schools Committee

Mr Mc Dermott attended a presentation of 25 free native Irish tress at Clones Library on Monday last. The presentation was made by Minister Heather Humphreys to various schools and community groups. This initiative is part of the Cavan/Monaghan Science Festival. Students from the St. Louis Green Schools committee and the Pollinator Module group began the work of planting the trees this afternoon, an endeavour which will continue over the following days.

Success at Bank of Ireland Money Smarts Competition

Congratulations to St. Louis Sixth Year students Maria, Mary Ellen, Aoife, Sinead, Tori Jade, Amy, Cathy and Sarah, who competed against 48 teams from schools across Counties Monaghan and Cavan in the Bank of Ireland Money Smarts Competition. The girls came joint first, and will now go forward to compete in the Grand Final in Dublin on April 2nd, to be in with a chance of winning €25,000 for our school. Well done girls!!!

Junior Camogie

Well done to our Junior Camogie players who were training hard this week in preparation for their first blitz next week against Keady.

1st Year Football Blitz

Well done to all our first year footballers who took part in an Ulster Blitz in Cloghan yesterday. The girls had a great day out and showcased some fantastic football.

U20 Footballers
