Louis Climb 2018 - Slieve Donard

Congratulations to the students and teachers who took part in the Slieve Donard climb on Saturday 28th April. The group left Monaghan at 8am on Saturday morning and travelled to Newcastle where they began the climb of the 850m Slieve Donard mountain, the highest peak in Ulster. This was a fantastic day out for all involved with stunning views of the Mourne Mountains and Dundrum Bay. This was a tough climb for the group but with grit, determination and the sun shining down on us we reached the summit of Slieve Donard at 1pm.

We would like to thank all those who sponsored the students and teachers for the climb, as well as The Squealing Pig, Kingas Cafe and Stay Bright Dry Cleaners for their kind donations towards the event.
