Safe Socialising Workshop for our TY's ahead of their upcoming Junior Certificate Results
Ahead of the upcoming release of their Junior Cycle results, our TY students attended a thought-provoking workshop on "Safe Socialising." The session focused on helping students navigate social situations, manage peer pressure and celebrate responsibly, ensuring they have the practical tools to make informed decisions and look out for one another during upcoming celebrations.
This insightful workshop was delivered by the collaborative "Don't Pour Your Dreams" team, bringing together key local organisations. Representatives from Youth Work Ireland Cavan Monaghan, Healthy Ireland Monaghan, Monaghan Integrated Development, Foróige and An Garda Síochána, joined forces to share practical advice on personal safety, wellbeing and decision-making, leaving the TY group feeling well-prepared and aware of their personal responsibilities, as they prepare to celebrate their Junior Cycle results.
